I was about to get so upset at the ending because I thought how is this a stand-alone but so much is missing. I’m glad that the author inserted the note. I can’t wait to read about the Baptiste Boys & I’m glad I read this book first. I wonder if Jules & Lyric will end up together since Inga is a done deal. Can’t wait to read the rest of the books.Product details

This book goes into details of my favorite character Jules. It also let's you know how the gang knew each other. What a read indeed.
I truly enjoyed this book it was good from start to finish. I look forward to reading more from this author
I enjoyed the Making of a street king. I got to see how Jules, Emillie, Samir, Jacques, Nick and Truth grew up to be the people they were and How they met. Natisha took us on a journey that lead to an amazing series and spin-off.
This prequel give you more insight into the lives of how Jules Baptist and his brother Jacques and Emilie and the reason why they moved to North Carolina and took over. This was a much needed read.
I'm so glad that you do this book. Love me some Jules and Lyric. This prequel brought everything full circle.
This book was a great read . I didn't want to put it down . I wondered what life was like before the characters met and this book did an excellent job of showing how life happens for a reason . This author is gifted with the pen .
The Baptiste Boys are definitely my favorite & I loved reading their back story!! I definitely recommend this book!! Great read!!
